gen-i operations

gen-i logoWhen CORE was engaged in its project with gen-i they were in a cultural alignment phase of integrating legacy gen-i teams: Computerland and Telecom. The brief was to work closely with the Head of Operations and internal Telecom HR professionals to create 'one team' and to drive positive cultural change.

CORE truth™ was utilised to find out what the current state of the organisation was, reviewing existing HR processes and systems. There was a distinct lack of documentation and mis-information; CORE used interviewing and data collation to create a current state picture. This was then used as the starting point for the cultural change process.

CORE purpose™ was then implemented, which involved articulating the future state of the organisation through nationally based workshops. This was linked to the vision and values to articulate the behavioural change required.

CORE translation™ enabled the systems and processes within the teams to be aligned and then to ensure sustainability of the processes. All of the data was captured in a database that could then be used from an internal HR perspective.

CORE champions of change™ meant that an internal team self-named "go4it" was created. This team started with 15 champions determined at the CORE purpose™ workshops. The workshops highlighted key issues that needed addressing and these were owned by the go4it team. The team was noted for really making a difference - from simplifying processes to increasing team morale and communication.
